Sex Education
Sex Education is amongst several high-profile productions filmed at Westonbirt House in recent years. The setting for the fictional Wallace University in the USE, attended by Maeve, Westonbirt House was transformed into the college campus in post-production.
Exterior and interior scenes were shot at Westonbirt House, including ‘The Great Hall’ and the ‘Head’s Study’. The show’s Location Manager, Deon Du Preez explained in a press brief why Westonbirt House was chosen as a location for Wallace University campus:
“We needed a building that has the feel of an Ivy League college. Westonbirt House is a big old manor house sitting back from the road down a long driveway and the minute you walk into it, it takes your breath away.”
